Fascinating article. I loved the photo of that old tree. I was introduced to that kind tree in my art school days when studying Van Gogh landscapes. It is incredible how many large branches grow in the warm weather each season. Interesting too how Christian has collected all those old tractors.
We visited Contres a couple of years ago near this wine area and had our first Cheverny wines. Its a beautiful area to explore.

Where did the name "Madon" come from. They are both delicious!

I have no idea where this name (Madon) comes from, it would be interesting to ask around in the village
